Each Spoken Portrait is carefully tailored to the individual and his/her life stories. Therefore, costs do vary, according to the time it takes to interview the client, and whether or not there are to be supplementary interviews with family members, friends, or colleagues. Also, the amount of editing needed depends on the complexity of the material, which will affect how long the process takes from start to finish.
In general, most Sketch Portraits and Profile Portraits will be completed between 4 to 6 weeks after the interview. Life Portraits, owing to their greater complexity, will have a longer timeline.
The Sketch Portrait begins at $1450
The Profile Portrait begins at $2500
The Life Portrait begins at $5000
We charge you 40% of the total cost at the time of the interview; the balance is due upon delivery of your Spoken Portrait.
